ELROY - Held annually during late June, the Elroy Fair is a hometown country fair at it's best. Held in Schultz Park in Elroy, admission and parking is free. Our theme this year is A Hayday at the Fair!

CRANBERRY BLOSSOM DAY

WARRENS - Did you know that cranberries were originally called "crane berries"? The plant's small pink blossoms reminded early settlers of the head of a crane, so they called the fruits "crane berries". Over time, the name became "cranberries". The Wetherby Cranberry Company and Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center host Cranberry Blossom day on the last Saturday of June. Free tours of the Wetherby marsh are offered from 9 a.m. to noon. Other activities go on at the Cranberry Discovery Center.

COUNTY DAIRY BREAKFAST

COUNTY DAIRY BREAKFAST

This annual breakfast is held on farms around Monroe County the first Saturday in June, which is Dairy Month. A delicious breakfast and tour the host farm. Great family fun!

TOMAH - Budweiser Dairyland Super National Truck & Tractor Pull - June 23-26, 2016. one of the country's most prestigious competitions. Drawing over 60,000 fans and tourists, the Tomah Tractor Pull has won "Pull of the Year" over 20 times.

TOMAH - As part of the Monroe County Agricultural Society mission statement our organization continues to promotion and educating the public during the County Fair. The importance of agriculture and its economic contribution to our county ranks high on our list. Our Learn N Earn program offers a free fun family activity that can be done during your fair visit.

MELVINA - Celebrating it's Annual event on the first weekend in August in Melvina, just a few miles north of Cashton. Events include the famous Frog Jumping Contests, Softball Tournament and plenty of entertainment, food and refreshments. A fun family event! For more information call: 608-654-5480

WOOD TURTLE DAYS

WILTON - Wood Turtle Days is held the first weekend of August. Most of the activities are held in the village park. Softball and volleyball tournaments, fireworks, games, arts and crafts, and food. Parade on Sunday. For more information, call (608) 435-6512.

NORWALK - The Norwalk Lions Club is a non-profit organization serving the needs of the local community. 50th Annual Norwalk Lions Club Truck & Tractor Pull.

KENDALL - The Kendall Labor Day Weekend Celebration is held the first weekend of September. Most of the activities are held in Glendale Park culminating with the big parade on Sunday.

CASHTON - Our annual Festival occurs the weekend after Labor Day. Activities include an Antique Tractor Pull, a Run/Walk, Carnival, Arts & Crafts Show, musical groups performing each day along with plenty of food and refreshments at the Village Park.

WARRENS - Each year the village of Warrens (popuation 360) explodes with more than 100,000 people during the 3-day Warrens Cranberry Festival. Held the last full weekned of September, Cranfest boasts over 850 arts and crafts booths, 350 flea market booths and 100 farm market vendors. If you get hungry during all that shopping, head over to one of the 100 food vendors for some tasty treats, including cranberry cream puffs, cranberry ice cream and even deep fried cranberries-on-a-stick.

WARRENS - Wisconsin leads the nation in cranberry production and the greatest concentration of the state's cranberry growers are in the Tomah/Warrens/Wisconsin Rapids area. The first Saturday of October, the Wetherby Cranberry Company and the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center in Warrens host Cranberry Harvest Day, offering visitors a chance to see the state's No. 1 fruit crop being harvested. Free tours of the Wetherby marsh are offered 9 to 11 a.m.For more information, call (608) 378-4878.

COLORS OF KENDALL

KENDALL - Held the second Saturday of October, Colors of Kendall is a vibrant, eclectic festival with music, arts, history, games and food coupled with the Autumn Ridge Driving Tour to artists' studios. Organized by the Kendall Area Arts & Cultural Organization, the festival showcases area artisans and local producers, while helping to preserve the region's historic and cultural assets. KAACO also hosts an annual murder mystery theater and a summer concert in the park.
